Franklin – Marguerite Dunlow Holt, 97, passed away March 29, 2025 in East Pavilion.  She was a daughter of the late Robert Porter and Mary Moody Porter and was also predeceased by her first husband Thomas G. Dunlow, Jr.; her second husband, Merton "Bear" Holt; a son, Dannie Dunlow; and two sisters, Rosa Wall and Barbara Ella Porter.

Marguerite was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Linda D. Fowler; three grandchildren, Chad Livesay (Casey), Jason Kellijan, and Megan Dunlow; and the daughters of her life-long friend, Juanita Cotton - Jennifer Harrell and Denise Harcum.

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at East Pavilion who lovingly cared for Marguerite during her years there and also the care team of Gentiva Hospice.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1PM Thursday, April 3, 2025 in Poplar Spring Cemetery with Dr. Roger Crump and Rev. Tracey Pugh officiating.
