Courtland – Margaret Elizabeth (Byrne) Plummer , 94, passed away July 27, 2018 at Courtland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Ocean, MD, she was the widow of Warren Clifford Plummer and daughter of the late John J. Byrne and Martha Bush Byrne.

Maggie was retired from the Agronomy Dept. of the University of Maryland and was lucky to have many friends who enjoyed dancing as much as she did. She enjoyed her time with the Courtland Keenagers and volunteering with the Southampton County Public Schools Program "Life Savers For Reading".

Left to cherish her memory is her son Dr. M. Timothy Kelly and daughter–in-law Lori Kelly, grandson Derk Kelly, her pride and joy, great granddaughter Avery Kelly as well as her special caregiver Marion Person.

The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life from 5 to 7 PM Monday July 30, 2018 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to any favorite charity. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
