Margaret Blades McNamara, 85, passed away September 2, 2014 at her residence with her family by her side. She was a daughter of the late James William Blades, Sr. and Lessie Mae Harrell Blades and was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. McNamara was a member of Somerton United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 60 years, L. J. "Mac" McNamara; one daughter, Deborah Susan Waldroup and husband, Mike; two sons, Russell A. Davidson and wife, Ruby, and Carl William McNamara and wife, Carolyn; five grandchildren, Jamie Andrews, Jason Davidson, Chad Waldroup, Melissa Davidson and Kelly McNamara and three great-grandchildren, Shelby and Cole Waldroup and Vanessa Davidson.

The funeral will be held at 2 PM Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Somerton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ken Hanson, Rev. Becky Gwaltney and Rev. G. C. Branton, III officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
