Courtland – Margaret Baggett Johnson, 91, passed away August 12, 2017 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Johnson was a daughter of the late Lee Baggett and Lillian Jones Baggett and was also predeceased by her husband D.C. Johnson, sisters, Paige King and Helen Toombs, brothers, Wilson Baggett, Robert Baggett and George Baggett.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of Vincent Grove United Methodist Church, a member of the Sunshine Club of Vincent Grove and had retired from Shady Side Drive-in.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Diann Davenport husband Wib, Pauline Copeland husband Lenny, Mae Clarke friend George, Louise Ogburn husband Donnie, Nona King husband John, Jane Burgess husband Barry and Belinda Jones husband Kenny, a sister Iona Whisenant , a brother-in-law Bob Johnson wife Dot, fourteen grandchildren , twenty nine great grandchildren and six great- great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2PM Wednesday August 16, 2017 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with Rev. Julie Larch officiating. Private burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Courtland.
