Suffolk – Margaret Jean Johnson, 72, passed away November 16, 2025 in Nans Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing.  Born in Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Moncure Johnson and Margaret Adele Cunningham Flythe.  She was also predeceased by her step-father, James Flythe.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Brenda Wheeler of Franklin and Christina Jones of Eure, NC; a son, Ronald Wayne Johnson of Virginia Beach; a sister, Martha Lynn Johnson of Portsmouth; a brother, Herbert Johnson, Jr. of Emporia; and two grandchildren, Desiree Jones and Joseph Jones.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM Saturday, November 22, 2025 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Gibson officiating.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
