Margaret P. Hutchison

Franklin – Margaret Pittman Hutchison, 87, widow of Alvin Edwin Hutchison and a former longtime resident of Richmond, passed away May 29, 2007 at Consulate Healthcare of Windsor where she was a member of the welcoming committee. Born in Courtland, she was a former teller with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Known as the "social butterfly" of Consulate, she made it her business to meet new residents and their families. Her contagious smile and love for others will truly be missed.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Edna Blythe of Franklin; two nieces, Jane B. Wood and husband, Phillip, of Zuni and Ann B. Duck and husband, George, of Carrsville and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Hutchison, brother, Leon R. Pittman and sister, Ann Evelyn Fridell.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Tim Webb officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Jane Wood and suggests memorials be made to the Relay for Life, c/o Jim Jervey, 221 North Dr., Franklin or the American Cancer Society, c/o Kathy Worrell 717 Fairview Dr., Franklin, VA 23851.
