Franklin – Mrs. Margaree Ford was born Margaree King to Mr. Phillip and Mrs. Lealer King (both preceded her in death), in Steel Missouri on June 25, 1924.

Mrs. Margaree Ford confessed Jesus Christ at an early age at Peter's Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, Mississippi.  She also resided in many states in her lifetime (Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana and Georgia) prior to making her home in Franklin, Virginia.  She truly, truly loved the Lord.  She was active at several of the Lord's House's of Worship where she served as an Evangelist for Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  You see, preaching and teaching the word of God was Margaree's life.  She served on the Mother's Board at Christ Unity Evangelistic Church in Chicago before God called her home to glory.

Mother Ford met Mr. Alex H. Ford and he took her into holy matrimony in 1946.  He preceded her in death in 1998.  She was a wonderful cook and homemaker to her loving Husband and all of the children they raised together.

Mother Ford was the pillar and the anchor spiritually and lovingly for the entire four generations of the King/Williams Family leading many to Jesus Christ. She nurtured so many and she was continually steadfast in the Lord until she transitioned.

Mother Ford biologically bore one child, Joseph, who preceded her in death in 1955; and she had one daughter, Margie Annett, whom she resided with until her health failed her.  She completed her earthly journey on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Ninety-four years of age.  She is preceded in death by 11 siblings: five brothers; Willie, Charlie (#1), Anderson, Nathaniel and Charlie (#2);  Six Sisters: Victoria, Mavis, Vida Mae, Mattie Lee, Pearlie Mae and Mollie.

She leaves to cherish her memory:  Her Daughter; Margie Annett Camper of Franklin, VA; Her Brother: Roy Williams (Ruby) of Chicago, IL;  Four Grandchildren: JaMar Camper of Alexandria, VA, Marcus Camper of Atlanta, GA, James Camper, III of Los Angeles, CA, and Marquita Camper of Atlanta, GA; Three Great Grandchildren: Kaseem, Makayla and Bryelle; and, a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 5, 2019 in Wright Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Qualls officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday in the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
