Garner, NC – Magnus Henry "Junior" Wheeler, Jr., 77, a long time resident of Norfolk, Va., died October 21, 2008. He was born in Roanoke Rapids, a son of the late Magnus Henry and Nellie Walker Wheeler, and was predeceased by his wife, Wanona Ewell Wheeler. He was a retired construction contractor and a member of the Holiness Church.
Left to cherish his memory are four sisters, Helen Marie Story of Chapin, SC, Nellie Mae Williams of Colrain, NC, Mary V. Jenkins of Aulander, NC, Bettie Ropelewski; one brother, Grady D. Wheeler of Goldsboro, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 pm Saturday at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, Va, with the Rev. Sharon James officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Horeb Cemetery.
