Boykins – Lynda Cutchins Daniels, 76, widow of Garland Woodrow Daniels, Sr., passed away on February 14, 2022 in her home with family by her side.  Born in Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late Arlandon Barham Cutchins and Elsie Story Cutchins.  She was also predeceased by four sisters, Betty C. Cooke, Mildred C. Steih, Eunice C. Harrell, and Frances C. Mumford and two brothers, Gilbert Cutchins and Wallace Cutchins.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Otelia Marie Zimmerman (Nicholas) of Boykins; two sons, Garland Woodrow "Woody" Daniels, Jr. (Shawn) and William Landon Daniels (Linda Bell); a sister, Evelyn C. Cutchins (Leroy); three grandchildren, G.W. Daniels, III, John Allan Daniels, and W. Landon Daniels, Jr.; two great-great grandchildren, Kasey Marie Daniels and Bryan Daniels; many nieces and nephews; and her cherished grand fur babies.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, February 20, 2022 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Brooks Gale officiating.  Burial will follow in Somerton United Methodist Church Cemetery in Whaleyville.  The family will receive friends from 2 to 5PM Saturday in Wright Funeral Home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Boykins Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and Dr. Taylor for their care and kindness given to Lynda.
