Drewryville – Louise Amos Griffith, 80, of Drewryville, died February 3, 2008. Louise was born January 4, 1928 and was a member of Drewryville United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Griffith, grandchildren, Brian P. Griffith and Andy L. Griffith, and five brothers.
Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Allen of Eden, NC, and Doris Banton of Powhatan, Va.; four sons, Chuck and Priscilla Griffith of Newsoms, C. P. and Janice Griffith of Franklin, Steve and Denise Griffith of Drewryville, Wayne and Renee Griffith of Courtland; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Thursday at Drewryville Cemetery by the Rev. Jim Smith. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 pm at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, and other times at the home of Mr. & Mrs. C. P. Griffith, 313 Fairview Drive, Franklin, Va. After the service, there will be a reception in the fellowship hall of Drewryville United Methodist Church.
