Franklin – Myrtle Louise Jordan Drake, 80, passed away May 18, 2022 in Sentara Obici Hospital.  Louise was a daughter of the late William Henry Jordan and Myrtle Outland Jordan.  She was also predeceased by her husband, Emmitt Edward "Eddie" Drake, Jr.; a grandson, William Edward "Little Billy" Drake, Jr.; and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Brock Drake.

Louise was a graduate of Cradock High School and a retired banker.

Left to cherish her memory is two sons, William E. "Billy" Drake and Barry L. Drake; two sisters, Ann J. Trapani  and Doris J. Forehand (Chester); a brother, James C. Jordan (Cecile); three grandchildren, Crystal Drake Beale (David), Austin Drake (Lauren), and Kurt Richard (Stacy); eight great grandchildren, Keira and Haley Wicks and Kala, Ethan, and Elton Nielsen, Grayson Drake, Ember Richard, and Kayla King; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4PM Sunday, May 22, 2022 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Penny Rasnake officiating.  The family suggests that memorial donations be made to any favorite charity.
