Franklin – Louise Ellis DeBerry, 90, widow of Marshall Morton DeBerry, Sr., died June 20, 2009 at Lake Prince Woods. She was born in Isle of Wight County, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Lillie Mae Matthews Ellis, and was predeceased by her brother, William Charles Ellis. Mrs. DeBerry was a 1937 graduate of Carrsville High School and a member of High Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy D. Arnold and husband, Carroll, of Bloomfield, KY; her son, Marshall M. DeBerry, Jr., of Alexandria; two grandchildren William Arnold and wife, Delisa, of Bloomfield and David Arnold and wife, Marsha, of Bardstown, KY., and five grandchildren, Cody and Chris Arnold, and Andy, Camryn, and Hallie Arnold.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 pm Tuesday at High Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Susan Reaves officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
