Obituary

Franklin – Loretta Storm Twiddy, 67, a woman of boundless love, wit, and compassion, went to be with the Lord on July 31, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and devotion that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Born to Phyllis and Lyle Cash Sr., Loretta was the cherished wife of Tim Twiddy, with whom she shared a life full of love and partnership.  Her heart was devoted to her family and she found joy in every moment spent with them.

Loretta is the proud mother of Anthony Twiford (Dorothy), Jason Twiford, and Teresa Denham.  She is a loving grandmother to Madeline Denham, Bryce Twiford, Matthew Twiford, and Jackson Denham.  Loretta is also survived by her husband Tim Twiddy, her father Lyle Cash (Faye), her brother Lyle Cash Jr., her sisters Cindy Sanford (Tom) and Donna Hollowell (Barry), and her extended family including Robert Twiddy.  She is a beloved aunt to Tiffany Carr, Amber Belcher, Lisa Bradshaw, and a proud great aunt to Jordyn Paulsen.  She also held a special place in her heart for her nephews Cliff Carr and Bryan Cash.

Loretta was known for her sharp mind, infectious humor, and deep love for all living things.  Her home was a sanctuary not only for her family but for every creature that wandered into her yard-skunks, possums, cats, birds, and more.  She fed them, cared for them, and welcomed them with the same warmth she gave to everyone in her life.

Her laughter could light up a room, and her wisdom was a guiding light to those around her.  Loretta's legacy is one of unconditional love, fierce loyalty, and a heart big enough to embrace the world.

A Celebration of Loretta's life will be held at 11AM Saturday, August 9, 2025 in Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Kelby Lilly officiating, where family and friend will gather to honor the beautiful soul she was and the joy she brought to so many.

"She loved deeply, laughed freely, and welcomed all – human and creature alike – with open arms."
