Boykins – Lois Ann Jenkins Allen, 67, widow of Kenneth Wayne Allen, passed away January 31, 2014 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was born in North Carolina, a daughter of the late L. C. and Annie Vaughan Jenkins. Lois Ann was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant at Courtland Healthcare, founder of the Ladies Auxillary of the Boykins Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Boykins Baptist Church.
Lois Ann is survived by her daughter Terry A. Bolton, and husband, Danny; two brothers, Luther Jenkins and his wife, Julia, and Wayne Jenkins and his wife, Donna, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins with the Rev. Raymond Bunn officiating.
