Franklin, VA - Lois Hays Clark, 75, passed away June 12, 2011 at her home. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the only child of the late Xanthus and Gertrude Hays and the widow of Earl Patrick Clark. She was a former comptroller for the state of Pennsylvania and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Lois was very active in community affairs including the D.A.R. and serving on the Board of Directors for Relay for Life.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Maureen Liverman and her husband, Hank, of the Outer Banks, NC; son, Michael S. Clark and his wife, Luba, of Edinboro, PA.; five grandchildren, Clark and Hays Liverman and Erin, Brian and Katie Clark.
A memorial service will be held at The Village at Woods Edge on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10 a.m. Wright Funeral Home is assisting the family.
