Lois Louise Carmony, 71, a native of Elizabethtown, KY and former resident of Chesapeake, passed away April 8, 2013 at her home. She was a daughter of the late Clarence and Eva Keith Swartz and predeceased by a brother; Charles Swartz. She was a retired LPN, a member of the DAR, and enjoyed genealogy.
Cherishing her memory is her husband of 54 years, Alonzo "Lon" E. Carmony; two daughters, Sherry Carmony and Judy Leeann Best, and husband, Michael, all of Chesapeake; one sister, JoAnn S. Bickett of Elizabethtown, KY; two brothers, Larry Swartz and Doug Taylor, both of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Ayers, Tyler Ayers, Lauren Ashley Best, Michael Taylor Best and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Mrs. Carmony's request, services will be private and she requested that memorials, in lieu of flowers, be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, Attn: Advance Guard, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. Wright Funeral Home is assisting the family.
