Franklin – Buddy Haines, 70 died July 10, 2010 at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk. He was born in Culpeper, a son of the late John and Viola Haines, and was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Haines and two brothers, Thomas and Turner Haines.
Left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Cathy Courtney of Franklin, Pamela Bayes (Ricky) of Seabord NC, and Judy Towns of Farmville; one son, Wayne Haines (Angela) of Franklin; his former wife, Joyce Dunlow Haines; two sisters, Virginia Hitt and Millie Smith; and four brothers, William Haines, Richard Haines, Elmer Haines, and John Haines, Jr.; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 am Thursday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. John Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins.
