Gates, NC – Lisa Kay Blankenship Parker, 57, passed away February 2, 2020 in the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Newnan, GA.  She was a daughter of the late Brenda Joyce Vaughan Watley and was also predeceased by a sister Carla M. Whaley.  Lisa was an Administrative Assistant for the Law Office of Oast and Taylor.

Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Michelle Zanzig (John) of Texas; three sons Jeff Capps (Kristi) of Eure, NC, Kenny Lorah (Kari) of Virginia Beach, VA, and Dustin Parker (Meagan) of Sunbury, NC; her father Carlos Alonzo Blankenship; a fiancé James Crawford; and eleven grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Wright Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday in the funeral home.
