Franklin – Linda Foster Thornton, 74, passed away August 7, 2018 in Southampton Memorial Hospital. Linda was a native of Norfolk ,VA and was a daughter of the late Charles and Garnet Foster and the widow of William "Bill" Thornton.

She was a member of Holy Neck Christian Church.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter Kathy O'Connell (Douglas), a son Larry Lee Wingo (Susan), a sister Joyce Pierce, two grandchildren, Coy and Shelby and one great granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday, August 10, 2018 in Holy Neck Christian Church with Rev. Dr. Dave Meadors officiating. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
