Suffolk – Linda Barham Seay, 75, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2023 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.  Born on November 5, 1947 in Richmond, VA, she was a daughter of the late Ruby Barnett and Paul Barham.  She was also predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Bessie Hawkins, Raymond Shore, and John Hawkins; her paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and William Barham; a special brother; Pete Barham; and a special friend, Elleree Hyder.

Linda was a graduate of Highland Springs High School and worked for United Insurance Co. and retired from SunTrust Bank with 21 years of service.

She is survived by her nephew, Christopher Turner who was a great caregiver that she could always count on.  Linda was also survived by three furry children, Cookie Dough, Butterball, and Leo; her sister, Paulette Fekete; other special friends and family members, Emily Ferguson, Cindy and Carl Ferguson, Cathy Grizzard, Taylor and Hunter Atkinson and daughter Addison Atkinson, and Barbara Doane; and her Godson, Charles "Chuckie" Doane, Jr. and his wife Jen and their children, Jack, Kayla, and Connor.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7PM Friday, August 25, 2023 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Hoyle Green officiating.
