Gates – Linda Gail Hooker, 60, formerly of Portsmouth, VA, our beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away January 20, 2015. Born in New York City and reared in Florida, she was the only child of the late Herbert and Maude Schivera Brenaman.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Gralan Gene Hooker; two daughters, Amber Elizabeth White and Sarah Stephanie Hooker and one step-son, Robert Gralan Hooker all of Gates County, NC.

Linda gave the gift of life and was a donor to the Life Net Program.
