Franklin – Lily Lee Dundlow Darden, 78, widow of Samuel Rudolph "Sam" Darden passed away on July 10, 2022.   Born on December 15, 1943, in Nansemond County, she was a daughter of the late John and Essie Williford Dundlow.  She was also predeceased by two sisters Hattie Mae Dundlow and Mildred Raiford, three brothers, Cadd, John, and Willie Dundlow, and a grandchild, Tabatha Dorothy White.

Left to cherish her memory is two daughters, Lorie D. White (Jimmy) and Wanda D. Hunt (Brian); three grandchildren, Teri Joyner (Deke), Samantha White (Austin Mostoller), and Brandie Newsome (Daniel); four great grandchildren, Corbin and Emeri Joyner and Cullen and Camden Newsome; and a host of special nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6PM Wednesday, July 13, 2022, in Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Wright officiating.  The family will receive friends at the home of Lorie and Jimmy White, 26128 Delaware Rd., Franklin.
