Franklin – John Leroy Bradshaw, 87, passed away January 7, 2017 at Riverside Doctors Hospital in Williamsburg. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and was one of eleven children of the late Ernest and Annie Bland Bradshaw. He was an Army Veteran, retired from Union Camp Corp. and during his retirement worked in the golf pro shop at Beechwood Country Club in Ahoskie for many years.

Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Sharon Anita Bradshaw (Roxie Stephan) of Suffolk, a son, Kenneth Lee Bradshaw (Jackie) of Franklin, two brothers, Russell Bradshaw and Alfred Bradshaw both of Suffolk and his only granddaughter, Taylor Bradshaw and many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service with Military Honors will be held at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
