Kenbridge- Lequita Whited (Joy) Holtvoigt, 78, widow of Richard John Holtvoigt, formerly of Windsor, VA passed away October 21, 2015. Joy was born in Grundy and was a daughter of the late Willie Richardson and Hazel Whited Richardson. She was a member of Central Church of Christ in Smithfield.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Terry Sprankle (Bill) of Windsor, Diana Prosyk (Mike) of Kenbridge, one son, Gary Holtvoigt (Darlene) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, two sisters, Rita Cameron (Robert) of Williamston, WV, Linda Laird (Glenn) of Madison, AL, two brothers, Phillip Richardson (Linda) of Portsmouth and Billy Richardson (Carol) of Zuni, and beloved family members, Angie Rogers (Kristen) , six grandchildren, April Gray, Nora Ward, Lequita Rankin and Richard Rankin, Tyler and Zach Prosyk, nine great grandchildren, Destiny, Jordan, Terry, Hannah, Olivia, Clayton, Selena, William and Justin.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Friday, October 23, 2015 at Central Church of Christ in Smithfield with the Minister Marc Shafford officiating. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, VA is assisting the family. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
