Rev. Leon Lee Scott, 54, died June 26, 2008. Born in Richmond to the late Marion Ellis and Sallie Hensley Scott, he was a retired Minister who was involved in mission work in Honduras and Costa Rica.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Judy Ann Burton Scott; daughters, Roseanna Winslow and Christine Scott-Shaffer; sister, Lora Shearin; brother, Noel Scott and grandchildren, Devin Winslow, Christian Shaffer, Samuel Shaffer and Lauren Winslow. He was predeceased by a sister, Carol Scott.
A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Richard Peerey officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at 6805 Netherland Drive, Suffolk.
