Carrsville – Lawrence Earl "Larry" Gardner, III, 65, passed away December 19, 2016 at the Rich Square Health Care Center. He was born in Franklin and was a son of the late Lawrence Earl Gardner, Jr. and Grace Leigh Bradshaw Gardner.

Mr. Gardner was retired from Tidewater Construction Company and was a member of Fred's Shag Club.

Survivors include his brother, Robert Melville "Bob" Gardner, his aunt, Shelby Jean Gardner and his uncle, Randy Gardner, cousins, Dr. F. Alexander Bruce, Carol Bruce Bachmann, Tanner Bruce Cox, Elizabeth B. Padgett, Robert Courter Bradshaw, Gail G. Allen and Moody H. "Rex" Gardner, Jr.

A funeral will be conducted at 11AM Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. James H. Hyatt, Jr officiating. The burial will follow at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery. A reception and visitation will follow the service in the Franklin Congregational Christian Church Fellowship Hall.
