Laura (Libby) Parron Bailey Wright, 88, of Suffolk, VA passed away Sunday, November 04, 2012, at her home after a long illness. She was born in Norfolk, VA on May 17, 1924. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 35 years, Wilbur Wright. Her children, Billy (Mary Katherine) Bailey, Nancy Futrell, Douglas (Dot) Bailey, Helen (Rich) Bleil, Audrey Bailey, and Barbara (Joseph) Eure; two step children, Kent (Mitzi) Wright and Cindy (Terry) Albertson; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; nephew, George Martinez of California and a very special cousin Inez Walker of Point Harbor NC and a son-in-law Pete Futrell. She was predeceased by her first husband C.C. Bailey; brother, Aubrey Parron; son, Robert C. (Bobby) Bailey and his wife, Mieko, and granddaughter, Laura Ann Bailey. Visitation will be November 7, 2012 from 7-8:30 at Wright Funeral Home, 206 W. Fourth Avenue, Franklin, VA. Graveside service will be November 8, 2012 at 2PM at Buckhorn Baptist Church Cemetery in Como, NC with Pastor John Hackney officiating.
