Suffolk – Larry Lee Wingo, 60, passed away on May 22, 2022 in his home after a long illness.  Born in Norfolk on September 13, 1961, he was the son of the late John Larry Wingo and Linda Gail Foster Wingo.

Lee was a graduate of Cox High School and a graduate of Tidewater Community College.  He was a mechanical and structural engineer in the shipbuilding industry.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Susan Gail Diamond Wingo, a sister Kathy O'Connell and her husband Doug, and a niece and a nephew.

Services will be private.
