Carrsville – Larry Gordon Blythe, 71, passed away July 17, 2025 in Southampton Memorial Hospital.  Born in Franklin, he was a son of the late William Lafayette "Bill" Blythe and Louvenia Byrd Blythe.

Larry was a 1972 graduate of Windsor High School and a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.  He loved his two little dogs, Snickers and Ginger, and the New York Yankees.

Left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Anna-Lee Blythe, Mary Alice Wilkey (Nathan), and Jessica Newsome (Brady); two sisters, Shelby Blythe Coggsdale (J. W. Coggsdale, Jr.) and Carolyn Blythe Thornton (Bill); a brother, William L. "Billy" Blythe, Jr. (Julie); and two grandchildren, L. T. Foster and Grayson Foster.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM Saturday, July 19, 2025 in Wright Funeral Home.  The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
