Franklin – Janice Lanell Worrell Fatherly, 72, passed away June 19, 2022 in Emporia Health and Rehab.  Born on January 23, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Howard Junius Worrell and Janice Joyner Worrell.  She was also predeceased by a brother, T. J. Worrell; a sister, Dale Hinson; and a nephew, Timothy Worrell.

Lanell was a 1970 graduate of Southampton High School.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Crystal Simpson (Chan) of Henrico County; a son, Chris Fatherly (Lara); a brother, Carter Worrell (Tammy); a granddaughter, Katelyn Fatherly; a grandson, Oliver Simpson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
