Suffolk – Kevin Ray Lassiter, 55, passed away February 2, 2022 in Sentara Obici Hospital.  He was a son of the late Claude Elmer Lassiter, Jr. and Brenda Keech Lassiter.

Kevin was a 1984 graduate of Suffolk High School and a mechanic for Massimo Zanetti.  He enjoyed fresh water and salt water fishing and was an avid hunter.  Kevin was a scout leader for Boy Scout Troop 30.

Left to cherish his memory are a daughter, Lauren R. Lassiter; a son, Brandon C. Lassiter; two sisters, Dana L. Kinsey (Bobby) and Donna L. Calimlim (Nelson); a brother, Keith Lassiter (Suzzie); his former wife, Lisa Lassiter; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM Sunday, February 6, 2022 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Gibson officiating.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
