Suffolk – Kenneth Daniel "Pop" Williamson, 83, passed away on June 21, 2022 in Sentara Obici Hospital with family by his side.  Born in Lynchburg on December 21, 1938, he was a son of Clyde Finley Williamson and Margaret Justice Williamson.  He was also predeceased by sons-in-law, Eddie and Jerry "Fred", one sister, Barbara Windley, and two brothers, Ray and John Williamson.

Pop was a US Marine and a meat cutter for 17 years and drove a tractor trailer for 15 years.

He loved his family and a good cup of Joe, Krispy Kreme donuts, golf, fishing, and Putt Putt in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 63 years, Virginia Ann Gattis Williamson; three daughters, Charlotte Gibson (Ray "Bootie"), Debbie White (Raymond), and Tammy Luck; four grandchildren, Daniel Gibson, Kelly Chaney (Lee), Nikki Grizzard (Dave), and Ginny Luck; and three great grandchildren, Madison Burgess, Cameron Chaney, and Emma Grizzard.

A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 10AM Friday, June 24, 2022 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with Rev. Raymond White officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tunnel for Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY, 10306.
