Capron – Vernon Keith Matthews, Sr., 51, passed away April 15, 2021 in his home.  Born in Suffolk, he was the son of the late Mills Matthews and Jean Whitley Everett and was also predeceased by a grandchild, Noah Duncan.

Keith loved street racing and engine restoration of old cars so they would go faster and he enjoyed fishing.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 15 years, Angela Chere Matthews; three daughters, Heather Duncan (Jonathan), Cindy Metcalf (Gentry), Paula Matthews; two sons, Vernon Keith Matthews, Jr. and Lucas Chase Matthews; a sister, Missy Matthews; a step-father, Ken Everett; and four grandchildren, Austin, Connor and Issac Duncan and Lillian Mae Bradshaw.

The family will receive friends from 2-4PM Sunday, April 25, 2021 in their home at 14403 Old Joyner Rd., Capron, VA.
