Drewryville - Kathleen Riegal Grizzard, 92, formally of Brunswick County, passed away on November 23, 2016. She was born in Brunswick County on September 15,1924 to Earl D. and Ida Short Riegal. She was predeceased by her husband, Norfleet T. Grizzard, her three sons, Lathan Wayne Grizzard, Robert Stewart Grizzard, William Todd Grizzard, one daughter-in-law, Peggy W. Grizzard, two sisters, Jane R. Smith, Christine R. Wilson and one brother, Emron Burnell Riegal.

She is survived by two daughters-in-law, Cathy F. Grizzard of Drewryville, and Sue N. Grizzard of Ivor; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Grizzard was a former cafeteria employee at Drewryville School, a former LPN at Camp 20 prison and Greenville Memorial Hospital and retired from Grizzard's Grocery Store in 1986.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Drewryville Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Wasdin officiating.
