Newsoms – Karen Ann Carroll Carr, 55, passed away on July 11, 2022.   Born on August 10, 1966 in Broad Creek, North Carolina and was predeceased by her father, Thomas Carroll and a daughter, Christie Carr.

Karen was a Certified Nursing Assistant and had attended beauty school.  She had many professions including nursing, veterinarian assistant, cashier, cook, store manager and waitress but most of all she loved helping people.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Faye Spence Carroll; a daughter, Thaya Carr; a son, Paul Carr; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.  She loved her grandkids, helped anyone in need, and would give you the shirt off her back.

There will be a visitation from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in Wright Funeral Home.
