Franklin – Justin Thomas Rainey, 40, passed away November 12, 2025 in his home.  Born in Franklin, he was a 2004 graduate of Southampton High School.

Justin loved the outdoors, animals, cooking (especially pies), and sharing his knowledge and love with his children.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, D. D. Joyner Turner; his soulmate, Abbey Lee; a daughter, Breanna; two sons, Ashton and Brayden; special aunts and uncles, Roland and Brenda Joyner and Cindy and Henry Thomason; three cousins, Shelly and Beau Thomason and Roland Joyner, Jr.; and his cat Blu.  He was predeceased by his father, Stephen Thomas Rainey; a cousin, Dillon Joyner; maternal grandparents, George and Evelyn Joyner; and paternal grandparents, Junious and Myrtle Rainey.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 to 4PM Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in Wright Funeral Home.
