Franklin – Juanita Hill Cotton, 93, widow of Allen Francis "Pat" Cotton went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2018. Mrs. Cotton was a native of Hertford Co. NC and was a daughter of the late Luther J. and Maude Harper Hill and was also predeceased by a son, Ed P. Cotton, and a sister, Delores H. Godina.

Survivors include two daughters, Denise C. Harcum (David) of Sandston, Jennifer C. Harrell (Randy) and a daughter–in-law, Wanda V. Cotton all of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Carla Vaughan (Doug), Andrea Cotton, Heather Harrell, Erin Harcum (Charlie), Luke Harrell (Nicole), Leigh Harcum, and Jamie Story (Kendall), and ten great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Joyce C. Wynns and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of East Pavilion for their loving care of our mother.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 PM Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in Sycamore Baptist Church, 31120 Sycamore Church Rd., Franklin, VA, 23851, with Rev. David Roberts and Dr. Roger Crump officiating. The burial will follow in the Cotton Family Cemetery. There will be a reception and visitation one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
