Franklin – Joshua Ryan Padelt, 24, died July 30, 2010 in an automobile accident. He was born in Hampton and worked in ship repair.
Joshua is survived by his parents, Deborah and Lew Spencer Jeter, Jr. of Franklin; his son, Jaiden Michael Padelt; two brothers, Daniel Humphrey (Jamie) of Richmond and Benjamin Leimgruber (Dorothy) of Norfolk; three sisters, Amanda Nodine (Alex) of Como, NC, Michelle Jeter of Chesapeake, and Karen Dempsey (Jeremiah) of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Joshua was predeceased by his biological father, Donald C. Padelt.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles "Chuck" Worth officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Bear Path Acres, 34574 Smith Ferry Road, Franklin, Va. 23851.
