Joshua Lee Babb, 16, died March 5, 2008. Born in Franklin, he was a home schooled high school senior, a member of Round Hill Hunt Club, a grass-cutter with Cutright Mowing and a roofer with Drake's Roofing and Construction. Joshua was a member of the New Apostolic Church.
Survivors include his mother, Sarah Lynn Babb; his sister, Mariah Babb; two brothers, Justin Benton and Dustin Benton; maternal grandparents, Lewis L. and Joyce Carr Babb; aunt and uncle, Keith and Joyce Tomlin ; a special cousin, Nate; and special friends, Buster Cutright, Randy Drake, Robbie "Rubi" Madron, PeeWee Holt, and Jeff "Tennessee" Bell. Joshua was predeceased by great-grandparents, Lewis and Virginia Babb and Tom and Virgie Darden Estes.
The funeral will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Christopher Reber officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday (today) from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
