Courtland – Josephine Pearl Foore Poe, 90, passed away May 16, 2025 in Courtland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  Born and raised in Huntington County, PA, she was a daughter of the late William Ross Foore, Jr. and Myrtle Ora Evans Foore Black.  She was also predeceased by her husband, Glenn Richard Poe; a son, Randy Poe; a daughter-in-law, Pamela Poe; and two sisters, Stella O. Dehart and Ruth Jane Bennett.

Josephine worked for Stanley Company, a sewing factory in Chambersburg, PA, for 41 years.  She loved to sew and make clothes.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Daniel Glenn Poe of Franklin; a brother, Ronald E. Black of Florida; two grandchildren, Gia and Danielle; and four great grandchildren, Nicholas Hill, Antonio Hill, Charles Whitfield, Jr. and Chelsea Whitfield.

A service will be held at Parklawns Memorial Garden and Mausoleum in Chambersburg, PA at a later date.
