Franklin- Joseph Martin Ferki, 88, passed away May 24, 2016 at the East Pavilion. Joe was a native of Wilkes-Barre, PA and was a son of the late Andrew and Mary Clair Ferki. Joe was predeceased by his wife, Rose Ferki, a son, Michael A. Ferki and a brother, Raymond Ferki.

Joe was an Army veteran and a graduate of Temple University and was a Catholic. A long time area pharmacist, he had worked at The Virginian Drug Store and Parker Drug Company.

Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Diane Ferki of Boykins and Regina Gazani (Jay) of McDavid, FL, four sons, R. Bruce Ferki (Sherry) of Portsmouth, Brian M. Ferki (Julia) and their two children, Zofia and Eliot of Charlottesville, Joseph J. Ferki (Norma) of Franklin and Francis M. Ferki of Palmyra.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 27, 2016 in Wright Funeral Home with Father Charles A Saglio officiating. Burial will be at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home and suggests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
