Courtland – Jonathan Lewis "Johnny" Mulder, Sr., 51, passed away September 7, 2019 in Emporia.  Born in Franklin, he was a son of Robert Odell Mulder and the late Barbara Canipe Bradshaw.  Johnny was also predeceased by two brothers Robert Michael Mulder and Timothy Michael Mulder.  He was a general contractor, and a member of Free Riders Motorcycle Club, Falls River Chapter in Roanoke Rapids, NC, and a member of the Sgt. Jayton D. Patterson VFW Post 4411 Auxiliary.

Left to cherish his memory are his father; his fiancé Renee Diaz; two daughters Katelyn Grove and Michaela Mulder; a son Jonathan Lewis "Little Johnny" Mulder, Jr.; a sister Lisa Mulder Scarborough; and a brother Robert Odell "Robbie" Mulder, Jr. (Nadja); two grandchildren Bryden and Alexis Mulder; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7 PM Thursday, September 12, 2019 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with Chaplain Tim Cormany and Pastor Matt Kidd officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to American Heart Association, P.O.
