Franklin – Johnny Lawrence Fowler, 58, died August 22, 2007. A Southampton County native, he was a son of the late Johnnie and Martha Virginia Worrell Fowler.
He was an automotive technician with Drake Tire Company for over 30 years.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 33 years, Rebecca Marshall Fowler; three daughters, Jennifer Keech and husband, Jason, Jessica Fowler, and April Eure and husband, Jake, all of Franklin; two grandchildren, Kayla Keech and Trenton Eure and one on the way; four sisters, Faye Vinson and husband, Carlton, Sarah Long and husband, Jimmy, all of Franklin, Mary Elizabeth Marshall and husband, Rudolph, of Gates, NC, Martha Ann Lander of Richmond; two brothers, Henry Fowler and wife, Lela, and Lawson "Dicky" Fowler and wife, Ellen, all of Franklin; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday at Black Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Kitts officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 pm at Wright Funeral Home
