Courtland – Johnnie Raye Story, 61, passed away unexpectedly January 5, 2025.

Johnnie was born in Franklin and was a 1982 graduate of Franklin High School.  He was a welder for Newport News Shipyard and a former employee of Union Camp Corporation.

Survivors include his mother, Judy Wilson Fuller; a daughter, Jessica Rutherford (Ryan); a brother, Carroll A. Story (Cindy); two nephews, Kendall A. Story (Ashley) and Zachary A. Story; eight great nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Alice DeGraff.  He was predeceased by his father, Howard Lee Story.

Services will be private.
