John Robinson Turner, 44, passed away December 8, 2008. He was a life long resident of Franklin, a son of Helen T. Turner and the late William Allison Turner. John was in the grocery store business and was a well read historian, especially in Civil War history.
Besides his mother he is survived by two brothers, James Lawrence Turner and wife, Lois, of Ovilla, TX and William Cullen Turner and wife, Rebecca, of Aurelia, Iowa and their children, Ellie and Grace.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm Friday at Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Reaves officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery.
