Franklin - John Carl Johnstone, III, entered into eternal rest August 18, 2010 at his residence. He was the son of the late Mary Hart and Lt. Col. John Carl Johnstone, II, USA, Ret. John was an employee of Union Camp and International Paper for 35 years. He loved his family, his job and his fellow employees. He was a devoted husband and father and a wonderful provider
Left to cherish her memory are his wife of 27 years, Sheila Vick Johnstone; his son, Daniel J. Johnstone; a sister, Leslie J. Pond and nephew, Cody Grice, both of Pocohontas, Ark.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 pm Monday, August 23, at Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, with the Rev. Dr. Roger Crump officiating. The family will meet at 32229 Walters Hwy. Wright Funeral Home is assisting the family.
