Sedley – John Wayne Hewitt, 65, passed away May 7, 2018 in his home. John was born in Washington, NC to the late John Allen Hewitt and Ethel Louise Montieth Waters. He was a Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran and a retired long distance truck driver.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Venita Jones Hewitt, one son John Wayne "Jay" Hewitt, Jr. (Danielle), and a granddaughter Sophia Hewitt.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
