Franklin – John Joseph Felgentreu, Jr., 81, passed away March 17, 2024 in Courtland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late John J Felgentreu, Sr. and Evelyn Moran Felgentreu.

John was a Navy veteran serving on the Independence and a retired electrician for Union Camp Corporation.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Loretta Council Felgentreu; a daughter, Janet Wade (Randy); a son, John Kevin Felgentreu (Tracie); five grandchildren, Shane Stephens (Ashley), Jalyn Wade, R. J. Wade, Alyssa Barnes (Michael) and Aaron Felgentreu; and one great grandson, Riley Stephens.

A gathering of friends and family will be announced at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please me donations to the American Heart Association.
