Sedley – JoAnne Coggsdale Hewett, 75, passed away March 20, 2021 in Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville. JoAnne was born in Franklin, and was the only child of the late Jesse J. Coggsdale and Vivian Babb Coggsdale. She was a member of Sedley Baptist Church and it's Ladies Senior Sunday School Class. She was a longtime volunteer at Courtland Healthcare,

Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Joey E. Hewett and nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 PM Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin by the Rev. Jim Foreman. The burial will follow at Southampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to Sedley Baptist Church.
