Harrellsville, NC – Joan Norris Stephens, 87, passed away August 31, 2020 at Accordius Health at Creekside Care, Ahoskie, NC. She was born in Canton, NC and was the daughter of the late Howard Norris and Florence Waren Norris and was also predeceased by her husband Joseph Stephens, her sister Joyce N. Holland and her brother Gene Norris.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Ivey Andrews (Dale) of Harrellsville, NC and Pam Ivey Sadler (Jerry) of Suffolk, two sons, Steven Ivey (Lynn) of Zuni and Richard Lee Ivey of Franklin, six grandchildren, Hank Stieh, Jason Stieh (Kim), Brandon Ivey, Shawn Edwards, Kristen Ivey Brinkley (Jason) and Lila Compton (Jim) and four great grandchildren, Brooke Ferguson, Kaila Deavers, Cameron Compton and Charlee Brinkley.
